Studio micro-house near the beach
Reconnect with nature on this unforgettable getaway. Our micro-houses are in the middle of agricultural landscapes, on a horse farm, just 400 meters from one of the best surfing beaches around.
If you like surfing, it's just a few minutes' walk to the nearest beach in São Julião, where you'll find surfing all year round!
Our local community also offers small local cafés, one of the most eclectic and tasty outdoor pizza restaurants, Brazilian-style hamburgers, a microbrewery and a surf/shaper store
The Space
This is an 18-foot shipping container converted into a fully insulated studio house in 2021.
That means the whole unit is 6 meters x 2.5 meters, and yet you'll find everything you need to spend a wonderful week in nature and close to surf and beach life.
The queen size bed (120 cm x 190 cm) is equipped with a medium firm mattress and can accommodate 1 person or a couple.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a large TV, air conditioning, heating in the bathroom, good internet connection and a small workstation. Energy and hot water come from solar panels.
You'll also have access to our magical winter garden; a beautiful shared wooden patio covered with glass for your sun, wind and rain protection. It's the perfect place to relax in the evening, watch movies or have a glass of wine. This space is shared with your neighbor in the other micro-house. Outside, in the garden, you have a BBQ, a firepit and a space to hang out.
Guest access
All access to your private micro-house and the shared common area outside the micro-houses, the garden outside the micro-houses and the area behind the micro-houses, such as the washing machine and dryer and the outdoor toilet.
Other things to bear in mind
This is a place in the middle of a horse farm. We also have dogs and chickens running around freely. In front of the small houses, you'll find the riding arena where our horses train every day. Our horses also love to play soccer and run freely, so we hope you enjoy watching these beautiful creatures in action as much as we do.
