Small 1-bedroom house near the beach
Reconnect with nature on this unforgettable getaway. With the beach just 400 meters away, this small house is situated in the middle of Portuguese nature, on a quiet side street. This small house is made of a 6-meter container. It has a living area at the entrance with a sofa that converts into a 120 cm bed. Full bathroom with shower. The bedroom at the end is equipped with a 140 cm x 190 cm bed.
The space
This is an 18-foot shipping container converted into a fully insulated studio house in 2022. That means the entire unit is 6 meters x 2.5 meters, and yet you'll find everything you need to spend a wonderful week in nature and close to surfing and beach life.
The queen size bed (140 cm x 190 cm) is equipped with a medium firm mattress and can accommodate 1 person or a couple. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a large TV, air conditioning, heating in the bathroom, good internet connection, a small workstation and a sofa that folds out into a 120m bed.
Energy and hot water come from solar panels. You'll also have access to our magical winter garden; a beautiful shared wooden patio covered with glass to protect you from the sun, wind and rain. It's the perfect place to relax in the evening, watch movies or have a glass of wine.
This space is shared with your neighbor in the other small house. Outside, in the garden, you have a barbecue, a fire pit and a space to relax.
Guest access
All access to your private tiny house and the shared common area outside the tiny houses, the garden outside the tiny houses and the area behind the tiny houses, such as the washing machine and dryer and the outside sink.
Other things to bear in mind
This is a place in the middle of a horse farm. We also have dogs and chickens running around freely. In front of the small houses, you'll find the riding arena where our horses train every day. Our horses also love to play soccer and run freely, so we hope you enjoy watching these beautiful creatures in action as much as we do.
